VOLUNTEERING

Thank you to the huge number of managers, coaches, parents, players and friends of Brislington Juniors who have declared some commitment to our tournament weekend.

The volunteers listed for each of the 3 key needs are listed below (use the shortcut button below)

Referees

Referees are one of the most critical roles we need to ensure the smooth running of a tournament.  Did you know we need a minimum of 16 at all times and at our peak points, we require 24 refs to be available, in order for our tournament to run on time!!

The list below is of those volunteers who have said they will referee - note you are down to referee even if you declared you could fulfil multiple roles, given it's the most critical.

AM slots: 8am - 1pm

PM slots: 1pm - 5.45pm

(please arrive on time, in order that you can be orientated to the rules)

T-shirts, stopwatches & whistles are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own

Car Park Marshalls

Next in our list of areas where we need a high number of volunteers is car park marshalling.  This requires numerous bodies to ensure cars are parked efficiently.  During the lunchtime crossover (when cars are leaving at the same time, cars are entering) we need twice as much help - it's a critical time of the day.

The list below is of those volunteers who have said they will help out in the car park.  The core time slots are:

AM slots: 7.30am - 9.30pm

PM slots: 12.00pm - 2.00pm

(please arrive on time, in order that you can be allocated and instructed by the lead marshalls)

Hi Vis jackets are provided.

General Helpers

Many of you declared you would be willing to provide general help.  There are numerous tasks throughout the day that will need numerous bodies (including taking over on a main 'station', stock replenishment, litter picking, emptying of bins, checking and maintenance of the toilets plus much more).

Please just show up any time and ask a member of the core tournament team where you can lend a hand.
